Prof. Risikat Oladoyin S. Dauda is a Professor of Economics of the University of Lagos. She holds a M.Sc. degree in Economics from Kharkov Institute of Engineering Economics (now known as Kharkov National Economics University), Kharkov, Ukraine in 1993 and a Ph.D. degree in Economics from Kharkov State University, Kharkov, Ukraine in 1996 and a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) at the University of Lagos in 2012. Her research interests include Development Economics, Applied Economics, Economics of Education and Human Capital, Poverty, Income Distribution Issues and Human Development, Gender and Development Studies, and Development Finance. She has participated in several development projects. She is actively involved in the supervision of Masters and Doctoral students. She is widely published in learned local and international journals. Further, she is a member of the editorial board of Journal of Economic Policy Analysis and Journal of Society, Development and Public Health. Risikat Oladoyin S. Dauda is a development economist with more than 19 years of experience in research, teaching and consultancy on issues of African development.
