Dr. Onah obtained his B.Sc. (Combined Honours) Political Science and Economics from UNN, after which he bagged his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees (Political Science) from the University of Lagos. He was a Laureate of the CODESRIA Small Grant for Thesis Writing during his doctoral programme. Prior to joining the services of the University of Lagos, he worked as an Executive Assistant to the Executive Governor of Enugu State and a Lecturer at the Redeemer's University. His research and teaching areas are Comparative Politics and Public Administration in which he has published in local and international journals. He has previously served as the Departmental Examination Officer and Coordinator of the Ph.D. in Political Science programme. He is currently the Coordinator the Masters in Research and Public Policy (MRPP) programme.
