Oyenike Eseagwu trained at Ahmadu Bello University where she obtained her B.A and M.A in industrial Design specializing (textile design). She also obtained a Ph.D. in art and culture with a research focus in fabric design from the University of Winneba, Ghana in 2018. She is a practicing visual artist whose work focuses on the utilitarian aspect of art with an emphasis on fabric production. She has taught textile design at Ladoke Akintola University, Yaba College of Technology. She currently lectures at the University of Lagos.
