John Adenle is a sculptor and art educator. He is a multi-media artist whose body of works explore degradable and non-degradable waste materials. His mastery of these waste is a statement on environmental issues. He works plastic, wood and metal in very unique ways. Adenle earned a Bachelor of Art in Education from Obafemi Awolowo University (Adeyemi College of Education), masters and doctorate degrees from the University of Nigeria,Nsukka.

He lectured in the Department of Fine and Applied Arts, Federal College of Education, Osiele, Abeokuta from 1996-2016 and currently teaches sculpture and art education at the Department of Creative Arts, University of Lagos, Akoka.
