Professor Solomon Adekunle Bello was born on September 13, 1957. He started his University Education at University of Ibadan in 1980 where he had his Barchelor in Education (B.Ed.) in Education Management/Economics in 1985, Master of Education (M.Ed.) and Ph.D. in Educational Mangement 1987 and 1996 respectively. In 2012, he bagged a Masters in Economics from the University of Lagos, Akoka. He joined the services of the Universty of Lagos in 1998 as Lecturer II in the Department of Educational Management, Faculty of Education, was promoted to Lecturer I in 2000, Senior Lecturer in 2004, Associate Prof. in 2010 and Professor in 2015. The scholar has served the University in the several capacities.

He was a member of senate (2004-2010 and 2011 till date), Sub-Dean, Faculty of Education (2005- 2007), Coordinator, Postgraduate Diploma in Education (2009-2012) and Graduate fellow, selection committee (SPGS), University of Lagos (2010-2011). The professor has to his credit over fifty (50) publications in learned journals and conference papers. He has also authored/ co-authored at least six books in various aspect of Educational Management and Computer Education. He has successfully supervised eleven (11) M.phil. and Ph.D. candidates and numerous M.Sc and Undergraduate candidates in the University and the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN). Professor Bello is happily married and blessed with children.
