Atinuke OLOWE RN MSc

Atinuke Olowe is a lecturer in the department of Nursing Science, Faculty of Clinical Sciences, College of Medicine, University of Lagos. She is a Registered Nurse (2005), Registered Midwife (2006) and Registered Public Health Nurse (2012).

On the 14th of December, 2017 she joined the department of Nursing Science after working as a Community Health Nurse for over ten (10) years. Her skills, expertise and clinical experience gave her an easy glide into academics. A well-blended theoretical approach with clinical skills enable her impact the students positively. She is certified as being competent in essential skills and office applications by International Computer Driving License (ICDL). Thus putting her at an advantage as regards digital competence and effective use of technology.

Atinuke is currently a doctoral student at the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg South Africa. Her area of speciality is Community Health Nursing with interest in School Health/Adolescent Health. As a young researcher, she has been a led author in some researches, co-authored with other researchers nationally and open to international collaborations on adolescent mental health.
