Dr. Hallowed OLAOLUWA

Dr Hallowed Olaoluwa is an early career mathematician with a keen interest in Analysis, Geometry and Mathematical Physics. He is currently the youngest to have obtained a PhD (Mathematics) from a university in Africa, and a holder of two bachelor's degrees and two master's degrees in Mathematics and Physics.

 

With two postdoctoral fellowships in Harvard University and Michigan State University, and additional teaching experience at the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences, Dr. Olaoluwa is a recipient of prestigious awards such as the Ekiti State Merit Award, the Next Einstein Forum Fellowship, the Nigerian Mathematical Society's Best PhD (Mathematics) Thesis Award and the University of Lagos' Overall Best PhD Thesis Award.

 

Hallowed is also a STEM education advocate, speaker and consultant, having featured in many outreaches aimed at mentoring and motivating high school and university students, and offering advice to institutions and governments on science/education programmes, in many African countries.

 

His hobbies include traveling and playing the piano.
