Josephine Nneamaka Onyeka-Ubaka, is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Science, University of Lagos, Akoka, Nigeria. Before now, she attended Girls’ Secondary School, Ozubulu where she obtained her West African School Certificate (WASC) at a sitting. Thereafter, she proceeded to Anambra State College of Education, Nsugbe and obtained Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) in Economics/Mathematics (1985) in addition to her Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Degree in Education/Mathematics earned from University of Nigeria, Nsukka in 1991 plus a Master’s and Doctorate Degrees in Statistics obtained, respectively, in 2004 and 2013 from University of Lagos, Akoka, Nigeria. Her research interests include Time Series Analysis: Forecasting and Control, Stochastic Processes and Mathematical Statistics.

Before joining University of Lagos, she served Yaba College of Technology as a visiting Lecturer in the Department of Statistics, School of Science. A sound statistician, she has authored Multi-Level Statistics: An Academic Companion for Inter-disciplinary Professional Competence, Multi-Level Statistical Table and has also published numerous articles in several learned International and Local journals.  

She is happily married and blessed with lovely angels.
