Dr. OMON MERRY OSIKI is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of History and Strategic Studies, University of Lagos. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Specialized History, Nanjing Normal University, China (2013) and a Ph.D. in History and Strategic Studies, University of Lagos (2014). In addition, he holds an M.A. (History), University of Lagos (2004), M.Sc. (International Relations) in the Department of Political Science and Public Administration, University of Benin (2002), and a B.A. (History), Second Class Upper Division, University of Lagos (1999).

He has over twenty publications in both local and international journals. Currently, he is the Departmental  Postgraduate Coordinator and once Departmental Examinations Officer (DEO), History and Strategic Studies (2013-Date), Course Adviser, 300 Level, History and Strategic Studies (2013/2014 Session), Departmental Representative on the Faculty of Arts/UNILAG ICT and Web-Ranking Committee (November 2013-Date) and the Editorial Assistant.
