Dr. Taiwo O. ADUBI

Dr. Taiwo hails from Ijebu-ode, Ogun State and presently live in Lagos State, Nigeria. She attended University of Lagos between 1991 and 2016 where she obtained a BSc, MSc and Ph.D. from the Department of Zoology. She specialized in Parasitology and her research focus is on schistosomiasis and soil-transmitted helminths. Her teaching career started in the Department of Biological Sciences Caleb University, Imota Lagos from January 2010 to October, 2019.

She was a member of the editorial board of the Caleb International Journal; she was the Vice-chancellor’s representative on the Students’ disciplinary committee (SDC) and the staff advisor to the Caleb University Association of Pure and Applied Science Students (CUAPASS). She also served as a programme (Microbiology) coordinator for 2014/15 session. She moved to the Department of Zoology University of Lagos (her alma mater) in November 2019.

She is a member of the Parasitology and Public Health Society of Nigeria (PPSN) where she served in the capacity of the National Financial Secretary and Treasurer for several years as well as Secretary at the State level. She is also a current member of the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene, London (RSTMH). She has some publications to her credit and has attended both local and international conferences.
