Pharmacologist/Toxicologist with focus on the pharmacology of natural products/compounds used in the ethnotherapy of cancers and inflammatory conditions. I use advanced in-vitro models and chemistry techniques to investigate the role of identified natural products in cancers.

Research interests include: 1) Natural products pharmacology and toxicology  2)Prospecting for novel anti-cancer drug leads 3) Oxidative stress and antioxidant signalling, including the Nrf2/ARE signalling pathway 4) Development and optimisation of phenotypic and target-based assays for high-throughput screening (HTS) of natural product libraries
