Dr. Simeon Adebayo Oladipo

Dr. Simeon Adebayo Oladipo holds the degrees of B.Ed, M.Ed and Ph.D in Educational Management.  He is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Educational Management, Faculty of Education, University of Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria and Deputy Director, Quality Assurance and Servicom Unit in the Vice Chancellor’s office. His work experience spans through the primary, secondary, College of Education and the university levels. He was a Principal of one of the largest and renowned secondary schools in Nigeria, the International School, University of Lagos. Simeon was a member of the Governing Council, Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education, Ijanikin-Lagos, where he also lectured for over a decade before joining the services of the University of Lagos. He was the Chairman, Postgraduate Committee of the Department of Educational Management; Coordinator, Postgraduate Diploma in Education, a programme of the Faculty of Education. Dr. Oladipo has supervised over 200 Masters and 5 doctoral theses in his field of study. He is a facilitator to some agencies such as the World Bank; Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board (JUPEB); University of Lagos Consult; Rightmove Consulting; government Ministries; private educational institutions among others. His research interests include Institutional leadership, administration and policy studies. He has presented scholarly papers at national and international workshops, seminars and conferences in the United Kingdom, United States of America, Canada, Japan, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Kenya, Ghana among others and has over 50 publications to his credit. Simeon was a leading member of the Africa -Asia Universities Development Dialogue and has participated in collaborative programmes in the network. He is a member of the Educational Research Network for West and Central Africa (ERNWACA); he is the Secretary, Lagos State chapter of the Nigerian Association for Educational Administration and Planning (NAEAP), which is an affiliate of the Commonwealth Council on Educational Administration and Management (CCEAM); member, Nigerian Institute of Management ((NIM) and member, BELMAS among others.
