Dr. Maruff Akinwale Oladejo

Dr. Maruff Akinwale Oladejo is an Education Management expert with areas of research interests that cover Educational Policy, Economics of Education, and Open-Distance Learning pedagogy. He has his Bachelor degree in Educational Management/Economics in 1999 from University of Ibadan, Masters degree in Educational Policy and Planning in 2002 from University of Ibadan, and Ph. D in Economics of Education in 2010 also from University of Ibadan. He joined the services of the University of Lagos, Akoka in February 2013 after spending 13 years at Federal College of Education (Sp), Oyo, where he rose through ranks to become Senior Lecturer in 2012. Dr. Oladejo has conducted several local and international researches in his areas of expertise. He was a Visiting Research Fellow to the Institute for Research Management and Monitoring, University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2013. He has also presented papers at national and international Conferences. He has over 40 scholarly publications both in national and international learned journals. He has supervised over 45 undergraduate students’ projects, over 30 Masters degree students’ projects, and currently supervising two Ph.D students. Dr. Oladejo Chaired Mini Tracks at the International Conference on e-Learning (ICEL) held at Cape Peninsula University of Technology, South Africa and University of Central Florida, Orlando, USA in 2013 and 2017 respectively. He is also a Reviewer to some international journals, notably Current Issues in Education, Journal of the School of Education, Arizona State University, Phoenix, USA. He is a Consultant to some educational organisations including British Council, Nigeria. Dr. Oladejo belongs to some professional/academic associations. He is currently an elected Member of the Senate of the University.
