Dr. Amidu Owolabi AYENI research focus is on “Environmental Geography, Resource Analysis, Water resources & climate change studies, and Geo-information sciences. He obtained his B.Sc (Hons) from University of Ilorin, Nigeria in 2002 and proceeded to University of Lagos, Nigeria where he obtained his M.Sc. and Ph.D. Degrees in 2005 and 2010 respectively. He is highly skilled in these areas Water resources & climate change studies and has performed extremely well in actualizing the application of these scientific leading domains in the last 10 years. I have supervised well over 25 undergraduate students and 10 postgraduate students. He has over 30 articles published in several reputable journals. He is a member of different scientific bodies including African Association of Remote Sensing of the Environment (AARSE), International Association of Hydrological Science (IAHS), Citizen Science Association (CSA), Association of Nigerian Geographers (ANG), American Association of Geographers AAG). He was a recipient of 2011/2012 African Climate Change Fellowship Program (ACCFP) Grant for his Post-doctoral research at Council for scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) Pretoria, South Africa
