Dr. Balogun is an Agricultural Hydrologist with academic and research interest also in soil and environmental studies and management. He has his first postgraduate degree, Master of Philosophy (M.Phil, Soil Science) from Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Port Harcourt in 1989 and a Ph.D in Hydrology with specialisation in Agricultural Hydrology from the University of Lagos in 1990. Over the years, he has been actively involved in teaching and research in Hydrology, Soil Studies, and Environmental Management; mentored about 36 students at postgraduate levels, including 10 at the PhD level; achieved membership of national and international professional and academic groups; has more than 30 publications in both national and international reputable Journals.
