Dr. Akintuyi is a Geographer and GIS expert with focus on spatial modelling and Utility mapping.  He has his undergraduate degree in Geography and Regional Planning graduated from Lagos State University in 2000; Masters in 2004 in Geography (Remote Sensing Option) discipline from university of Lagos and a PhD in Geography (Remote Sensing and GIS) from the University of Lagos in 2015. Over the years, he has teaching experience, conducted and participated in number of research projects/studies which includes the Environmental sensitivity index map and Landuse/ Landcover mapping for the Niger Delta Area of Nigeria, State of the Nigerian environment for Federal ministry of Environment, Lagos State satellite image map for 2006 census, etc. He has mentored fifteen (15) number of students both in undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He has about twelve publications to his credit in peer reviewed journals.
