Dr. Ojekunle has a wealth of teaching experience in Geography at both the Secondary School level and the University level. She was engaged by UNILAG Consult in 2005 to conduct a survey work on Demographic and Socio-economic Transportation in Metropolitan Lagos and was one of the supervisors for LRMT Commuter and Household Surveys conducted by the Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA) in 2006 and the Iyana Ipaja-Ikotun Franchise Bus Routes survey in 2006. Over the years, she has conducted numerous researches on railway transportation, mentored several students and achieved five membership of professional and academic groups. She has over twenty publications. She was employed by University of Lagos in 2005 and at present she is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Geography, University of Lagos, where she lecturers both the undergraduate and postgraduate students.
