Dr. Oloruntola Moroof is an Associate Professor in the Department of Geosciences with nineteen (19) years of teaching and research experience. He obtained BSc. (Hons.) in Geology (1998) from Ogun State University (now Olabisi Onabanjo University), M.Sc. in Geology (Hydrogeology/Engineering Geology option) in 2003 and PhD. in Hydrogeology (2012) from the University of Ibadan. Moroof’s area of specialization is ‘Hydrogeology/Engineering Geology”. He has supervised over one hundred undergraduate and postgraduate students and currently has two PhD students. He has over thirty (30) academic publications in reputable national and international journals. He is a member of local and international professional associations such as Nigeria Mining and Geosciences Society (NMGS), Council of Nigerian Mining Engineers and Geoscientists (COMEG), International Association of Hydrogeologists (IAH), National Association of Hydrogeologists (NAH), Nigerian Association of Engineering Geology and the Environment (NAEGE) and life membership of Geological Society of Africa.
