Dr. Olanrewaju O. Onigbogi, holds a medical degree from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria and a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Kuopio, Finland. He thereafter had a post-graduate fellowship in Community Medicine and Epidemiology at the University College Hospital, Ibadan, Nigeria. He has also published widely in the field of public health and tobacco control in local and international scientific journals. He coordinated the “Quit and Win 2005” campaign in Nigeria in collaboration with the National Public Health Institute of Finland (KTL) and the World Health Organization. He has vast experience as a consultant to international agencies in the field of public health.  He is also a fellow of the International Union Against Cancer (UICC) having obtained the prestigious International Cancer Technology Transfer (ICRETT) fellowship of the latter. He is a member of several international organizations including the Society for Research on Nicotine and Tobacco (SRNT) and the Global Partnership for Tobacco Control (GPTC).
