Dr. Iredele is an environmental accounting and sustainable development specialist whose passion is to assist firms to reduce the risk exposures coming from poor environmental impacts. In doing this, he identifies measures to reduce the negative effects of firms’ activities on the environment, thereby promoting sustainable business practices in corporate organisations. Also, he promotes disclosures of environmental information in firms’ annual reports as a proactive measure to gaining competitive edge. He had his undergraduate degree in Accounting and graduated from the Obafemi Awolowo university, Ile-Ife in 2009; He obtained His M.Sc and Ph.D Accounting from the same university in 2014 and 2017 respectively. H e got the University of Lagos Ph.D  research grant under the NEEDS Assessment Intervention Fund in 2016.  He is an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). He has five years of lecturing and research experience and has a number of publications to his credit. He has presented papers at both local international conferences.
