Dr. Obademi Olalekan Emmanuel is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Finance, University of Lagos. He holds a Ph.D in Banking and Finance in addition to two Master’s degrees as MSc in Economics, MSc in Agriceconomics in addition to a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Management and a Bachelor in Agriceconomics from three Universities namely Ekiti State University Ado Ekiti, University of Ibadan and Obafemi Awolowo University, lle-Ife respectively.

His work experience in the last twenty-two years cuts across the Banking sector, Insurance Industry, International Development Organisations, Consulting and Lecturing in two Universities in Nigeria.

In International Development, he has worked in diverse capacities up to the level of a Chief of Party and Country Team Leader in multicultural environments. He has also been a Lead Consultant on diverse donor supported projects funded by DFID, USAID, FAO, UNDP and the World Bank at different periods especially on projects focused on Poverty Reduction Strategies, Public Financial Management, Health Systems Strengthening, HIV/AIDS, Agribusiness, Policy Review and Debt Management etc. Dr. Obademi was also at a time the Technical Adviser to the Minister for National Planning in Nigeria.

As at now, he has thirty-two journal publications in both national and international journals. He has also authored three books titled “Money, Banking and The Economy” “Basics of Entrepreneurship and Project Analysis” Management of Financial Institutions”
