Ojiako Chika Perpetua is a Computer Scientist with focus on Artificial Intelligence, Swarm Intelligence, Data Science and Information Communication and Telecommunication for Development (ICT4D). She has her undergraduate degree in Computer Science from the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka in 1997; Masters in Computer Science from University of Lagos, Akoka in 2006 and a PhD in Computer Science (In view) from the University of Lagos. Currently working on a PhD dissertation in Swarm Intelligence and has conducted research in Particle Swarm Optimization. Has mentored over 100 students and is particularly interested in encouraging/bringing more girls and women into the Information Communication and Telecommunication ecosystem with bias in training and mentoring girls and women on how to code. She is a member of some international and local professional and academic groups. Has reported some research works in conferences and journals.
