Olaleye is a phycologist with special interest in microalgal cultivation for biomonitoring and bioremediation. He has his undergraduate degree in Marine Biology from University of Lagos in 2014, before then he had obtained a National Diploma in Fisheries Technology from Federal college of Fisheries and Marine Technology, Victoria Island, Lagos in 2009; Masters in Marine pollution and Management from University of Lagos 2017. He is a registered member of Phycological Society of Nigeria.
