Dr. Ajayi is a Computer Scientist with on research focus on Cloud Computing and ICT for Development (ICT4D). He obtained his Bachelor’s and Master degree in Computer Science from the University of Lagos in 2007 and 2012 respectively; and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the same University of Lagos in 2018. Prior to joining the University, he worked in the advertising industry as a Digital Media Technologist. On gaining admission to study for his Ph.D., he joined the University of Lagos as a full staff in 2015. He has taught and currently teaches courses at various undergraduate levels within the department of Computer Sciences. He has also supervised nine (9) undergraduate final year projects in areas related to but not limited to Cloud Computing. He has authored and co-authored over a dozen publications in conference proceedings and journals, published locally and internationally. Beyond direct lecturing and research work, he is a mentor to numerous students and currently serves as course adviser for first year.
