Dr. Akinboboye is a prosthodontic specialist with focus on oral rehabilitation of partial and complete edentulous ridge especially in the elderly. She has her undergraduate degree in dentistry, and graduated from the university of Ibadan in 1999; Masters in Science in public health (health management option ) discipline from the University of Lagos and a Fellowship of West Africa College of Surgeon in Restorative Dentistry from the College of West Africa in 2011. Over the years she has gained experience, conducted research in prosthetic rehabilitation such as removable partial denture, complete denture, dental implant, impression materials, aesthetic perception of midline diastema, prosthetic rehabilitation in the elderly, mentored three number of students who have worked in removable prosthetic space and dental implant space and achieved over ten membership of professional and academic groups and twenty five number of publications and she is yet to win and managed  grants .
