Dr. Babawale is a registered and practising Estate Surveyor and Valuer (Appraiser), duly registered with the Estate Surveyors and Valuers Registration Board of Nigeria (ESVARBON) and the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV). His focus is in real estate investment valuation and risk analysis including property taxation. Dr. Gabriel Kayode Babawale holds a Bachelor Degree in Estate Management (First Class Honours) from the then University of Ife, Ile-Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University); MSc. (Urban Land Appraisal), University of Readings, UK; and PhD. (Estate Management), University of Lagos. Dr. Babawale has over thirty years of experience both in consultancy and in academics. He has conducted research in Valuation Accuracy, Risk analysis in Real Estate Investment, and Property taxation. He has mentored scores of undergraduate and post graduate students and has over forty publications including twenty in reputable international journals.
