Funlola Famuyiwa is a lecturer at the Department of Estate Management, University of Lagos with almost 10 years teaching experience. Her research interests include Property Tax, Property Value Determinants and Land Economy.

She graduated from the University of Lagos with a B.Sc in Estate Management in 2003, and obtained a Master’s of Science degree also in Estate Management - from the same university - in 2008.

Over the years she has published research and opinion based papers in academic/ scientific journals, and equally presented papers at scientific conferences in the United Kingdom, Hong-Kong, Ghana and United States of America. She consistently conducts research in real estate analyses.  She has supervised well over 60 undergraduate research dissertations and mentored students since 2008. She has vast experience in Industry and Real Estate practice. Key among her industry experience includes leading the team assigned to value all real estate holdings in the South-Eastern region of Nigeria of the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC). She is an associate member (ANIVS) of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV), and a registered member (RSV) of the Estate Surveyors and Valuers Registration Board of Nigeria.
