Dr. Awolola is an Anatomic Pathologist with special interest in the pathology of the aero-digestive system and cytopathology. He has his undergraduate degree in the Medicine and Surgery, graduated from the University of Ibadan in 2000; He had his Fellowship of the National Prosgraduate Medical College in Pathology. Over his 10 years’ experience he has conducted research in Pathology of the gastro-intestinal and cardio-vascular systems. He has mentored many students and Resident Doctors students. Before his employment at the University of Lagos, he worked briefly at the Delta State University. He is a member of the Society of Gastroentrologists and Hepathologists in Nigeria (SOGHIN), College of Nigerian Pathologists (CNP) and West African Division of the International Academy of Pathologists (WADIAP). He has 23  publications to his credit.
