Dr. Umeh is an Estate Management specialist with focus on real estate investment, valuation and portfolio management. He obtained his undergraduate degree  in Estate Management from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka; Masters in Estate Management from the University of Lagos, Akoka and a Ph.D. in Estate Management from the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka in 2014.

With over 10 years’ teaching experience, he has conducted research in portfolio management, real estate investment, valuation & user satisfaction; and mentored a sizeable number of students. He has published several academic research papers in various high impact peer-reviewed journals. He is an Associate Member of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (ANIVS) and a Registered Estate Surveyor and Valuer (RSV) with ESVARBON.

He was co-opted as a member of the National Research and Development Committee of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers in the year 2012. He was later engaged as the national research consultant by the professional body for a national data bank project which produced the first successful data bank on yields for different categories of properties in Abuja, Port Harcourt, and Lagos.
