Adetokunbo Sangowawa is a Building Services Engineer with focus on environmental sustainability and building efficiency. He has an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Univ. of Lagos in 1980; Master of Business Administration (MBA), also from the Univ. of Lagos in 1987, M.Sc. degree in Building Engineering Services Facility Management from the Heriot Watt Univ., Edinburg in 2012. He is about to complete a Ph.D. program in Architecture from the University of Lagos. With over 35years post-qualification experience, he has conducted research in sustainability, comfort and satisfaction, indoor environmental quality, building efficiency and resilience. He has been a mentor to his students. He has been successfully engaged in building engineering consultancy and he has professional membership of engineering communities in Nigeria, the UK and the USA. He has authored and co-authored academic and professional publications.
