A Canadian Commonwealth scholar and a First Class graduate of the prestigious department of Architecture, University of Nigeria, Nsukka, a fellow of the Society of Landscape Architects of Nigeria (SLAN), member of Nigerian Institutes of Nigeria (N.I.A), an ARCON registered architect and a gold medalist in landscape architecture, Nnezi is also a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) as well as AARCHES (Association of Architectural Educators).  

Dr Nnezi Uduma-Olugu is an Associate Professor in the department of Architecture. She is also the immediate past Head of Department and has been a pacesetter for a long time, excelling at every point of her life, highly appreciative of the grace of God on her life.

She is an accomplished architect and landscape architect of more than three decades, with several projects to her credit in both fields of architecture and landscape architecture. An author, a mentor and an academician with several published papers in peer-reviewed, local and international journals and has also spoken at various conferences at home and abroad. Dr Nnezi Uduma-Olugu’s area of specialization, apart from Biophillic Architecture and design, is landscape, urban spaces and tourism studies.
