Dr. Alade is an Urban Planner with focus on Transportation Planning and Sustainable Mobility. He has his undergraduate degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife in 1995; Masters in Transport Studies from Ogun State university (now Olabisi Onabanjo university), Ago-Iwoye in 1998, M.Phil. in Urban and Regional Planning, Obafemi Awolowo University in 2009 and a Ph.D. in Urban and Regional Planning from the Obafemi Awolowo University in 2012. Over the years, Dr. Alade has conducted research in the field of transportation with focus on Lagos, mentored four (4) students, one currently lecturing in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning, University of Lagos, two working in a Lagos based Planning firm and one masters student in the University of Twente, in the Netherlands. Dr. Alade is a registered town planner and a member of the Nigerian Institute of Town Planners (NITP). He is also a member of the International Society of City and Regional Planners (ISOCARP) and a member of World Conference on Transport Research Society (WCTRS). He currently has not less than 17 publications and has won and managed one research grant.
