Dr. Imaga is a Biochemical Pharmacologist and Nutritional Biochemist with focus on Medicinal plant interventions in sickle cell anemia and selected metabolic diseases  She had her undergraduate degree  in Biochemistry,  graduated from the University of Lagos in 1996; Masters in 1999 in Pharmaceutical Chemistry  from the University of Lagos and a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Lagos in 2008. Over the 13 years experience, conducted research in Phytotherapy and Antioxidant mechanisms of drug interventions and made some therapeutic findings on the pharmacological importance of medicinal plants and nutraceuticals.  Has mentored over 9 PhD and 26 MSc students and a large number of BSc project  students. Has presented research findings in international and national conferences and achieved a membership of 8 professional and academic groups, 25 publications and  won travel grants to present findings at International conferences.
