Bolanle Olubusola Iranloye is a Professor of Physiology.  She has B.Sc. (Hons), M.Sc. and PhD in Physiology from the University of Ibadan. She started her teaching and research career in 1991 at the University of Ilorin and moved to University of Lagos in 2003 where she is currently a Professor of Physiology.

Her career interest is teaching and research in Endocrinology and Reproduction. Over the years she has focused on issues affecting reproductive functions and fetal programming  especially Non-Communicable Diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, metabolic syndrome, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), stress, smoking etc. She has also looked at the efficacy of some natural interventions in reproductive dysfunctions. Currently, she is looking at some genetic changes in female reproductive functions and genetic profiling of PCOS in Nigerian patients.. She has won several research and travel grants and  presently is the Principal investigator (PI) for a National research grant (Tertiary Education Trust fund/ National Research Fund (Tertfund/NRF). She has supervised 10 PhD thesis and currently have 4 ongoing. She has about 50 publications with several presentation in national and inernational conferences.  

She coordinates the Applied Research of the Centre for Genomics of Non-communicable Diseases and Personalized Healthcare.

She was the Treasurer of the Physiological Society of Nigeria for several years.
