Dr. Ifere is a Business Management specialist with focus on Organisational Effectiveness. He has HND in Bldg/Civil Engineering (1986) from Auchi Polytechnic; BSc (1994) in Business Administration from University of Lagos; MBA (1998) and M.Phil./Ph.D. (2009)in Business Administration from Lagos State University.  He was also a Research Fellow / Visiting Lecturer at Swansea University, Swansea, UK.

 

Dr.Ifere has extensive industry experience. Prior to becoming a staff of the University of Lagos, he was a senior manager / head of several departments in Elf and Total groups for decades as well as operations / turnaround management consultant in the petroleum industry. He has conducted research in Organisational Effectiveness, Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship, and supervised over fifty postgraduate projects work. 

 

He is a Fellow of the Nigeria Institute of Management (FNIM), Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants as well as Member of The Academy of Management Nigeria and Academy of International Business (UK&I). He has authored / co-authored many journal articles and several accepted and presented conference papers.
