Dr Utomi is an Orthodontist with special focus on Early treatment and Special needs individuals. She has her undergraduate degree in Dentistry and graduated from the University of Lagos in 1984; specialised in Orthodontics with a fellowship of the West African College of Surgeons in 1999. Over the years, she has been involved in teaching, research and training as a lecturer, senior lecturer and currently as an Associate Professor in Orthodontics in the University of Lagos. She has mentored a large number of undergraduate and postgraduate students. She is a member of the Nigerian Association of Orthodontists, World Federation of Orthodontists and American Association of Orthodontists. She has over 37 publications.
