Olusegun Ezekiel Alao was born on 27^th of January, 1979 inIgbonla, Irepodun Local Government Area, Kwara State. Olusegun attended Community L.G.E.A. School, Igbonla from 1985-1990; Apaarin Community Grammar School from 1991-1996; AdeniranOgunsanya College of Education, Ijanikin, Lagos from 2001-2004; University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos from 2006-2009 to obtain his First School Leaving Certificate; Senior Secondary School Certificate; Nigeria Certificate in Education (Business Education) and Bachelor of Science Education (B.Sc. Ed.) in Business Education respectively. In addition to his academic achievements mentioned above, Olusegun obtained his Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Business Education in the University of Lagos, 2010-2012. He is currently running his Ph.D. degree programme in his Alma Mater. He has one published journal article. He is happily married. He started working as an Assistant Lecturer in the University of Lagos since the year 2014 in the Department of Arts and Social Sciences Education, Faculty of Education, University of Lagos.
