Dr. Ayodele Shittu is an economist with special focus on the Economics of Entrepreneurship and Innovation. He has his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Lagos in 2005; Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Lagos in 2008; and a Doctoral degree in Economics from the Soochow University (CN) in 2014. His current research interests include youth entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship and innovation in the informal sector, and University-industry collaborations. He is an active member of the African Network for Economics of Learning, Innovation, and Competence Building Systems (AfricaLics). He is also a Matasa Fellow
