My name is ANTHONIA T. ODELEYE. I hold PhD in Economics from University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria, West Africa. I am a senior lecturer, at Department of Economics, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Lagos, Akoka, Yaba, Lagos, Nigeria, West Africa.

My area of specialty is Development/Monetary Economics. Recently, I delve into Financial Economics. Financial economics is a new area of study at undergraduate and post-graduate levels in Nigeria, hence my desire to make it my additional field of specialization. My passion for that specialty made me to apply to African Economics Research Consortium in a Collaborated PhD Programme to study in its Joint Facilities for electives (JFE) in 2010. I was at the JFE for a four month intensive study in Financial cum Development Economics at Kenya School of Monetary Studies, Nairobi, Kenya between 5^th July and 5^th November 2010.

Dr. Odeleye is a Students-centered educator with a solid background in tertiary institution

environment, teaching basic Economics from undergraduate to advanced courses. Well-versed in course planning, research oversights, and students’ mentoring, She was a Visiting Research Fellow in the Macroeconomics Policy, Forecasting and Research Department of the African Development Bank, Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire in 2016.
