Matthew Babatope Ogunniyi holds a B.Sc. (Hons.) Mathematics from University of Ilorin, an M.Sc. Statistics, M.Sc. Economics and a Ph.D Economics degree from the University of Lagos. He is currently a Lecturer in the Department of Economics of the University of Lagos. He has teaching/lecturing experience spanning more than three decades. He has a strong passion for imparting knowledge. He began his career as a mathematician, later as a statistician and finally as an economist. He has published well locally and internationally, and has attended many conferences within and beyond the shore of Nigeria. His specialty cuts across development, industrial and monetary economics.
