Nofiu BADMUS

BADMUS, Nofiu Idowu (Ph.D) bagged his B.Sc (Statistics) in 2004 from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Nigeria; M.Sc (statistics) 2007 and PhD (Statistics) 2017 both from University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria. He has worked as Lecturer in the Department of Statistics, Abraham Adesanya Polytechnic, Ijebu-Igbo, Ogun State, Nigeria; from September, 2007 to September, 2014 and in the Department of Statistics, Yaba College of Technology, Yaba, Lagos, Nigeria; from October 2014 to February 2020. He is currently working as Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics (Statistics Unit), University of Lagos, Akoka, Nigeria. He joined the Department in February 2020 till date. His research interests include Statistical Inference, Distribution Theory, Applied Statistics and Computational Statistics. He has contributed articles to both national and international prestigious journals on his field of interests. Badmus is a member of Nigerian Statistical Association (NSA), Professional Statisticians Society of Nigeria (PSSN), International Research and Development Institute: Research and development Network (IRDI) and American Statistical Association (ASA).
