Oluwakemi Yemisi Adeogun

Adeogun Oluwakemi Yemisi is a Lecturer at Department of Geosciences, University of Lagos. She holds a B.Sc (Hons.) in Physics from Lagos State University (2007), M.Sc. Physics (Geophysics option) from the University of Lagos (2012). She was a postgraduate fellow (2013-2014) at Earth Science and Reservoir Services Unit, Chevron Nigeria Limited, Lagos. She obtained Ph.D. in Exploration Geophysics from the University of Lagos, Nigeria (2017). She was a postdoctoral fellow (2019-2020) at CSIR-National Geophysical, Research Institute, Hyderabad, India. She is an early career woman with great passion for research. She has attended local and international conferences and delivered conference papers. Her area of research interests are Near Surface Geophysics and Exploration Geophysics. She is an active member of Nigerian Association of Petroleum Explorationists (NAPE), Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG), Organization of Women for Science and Developing World (OWSD – Lagos Branch), American Geophysical Union (AGU) and Earth Signature Research Group  (ESREG) domiciled at the Department of Geosciences, Faculty of Science, University of Lagos. She has supervised many undergraduates and postgraduate students. She has publications in national and peer reviewed journals
