Professor Koleola T. ODUSAMI holds a BSc. degree in Building Technology (21) from erstwhile University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University), Ile-Ife. He holds an MSc. and PhD. in Construction Management, both from the University of Lagos. He is a corporate member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, the Nigerian Institute of Building and the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors. He is a Registered Builder with Council of Registered Builders of Nigeria (CORBON) and a fully Registered Quantity Surveyor with the Quantity Surveyors Registration Board of Nigeria (QSRBN). Before joining the University as a Lecturer, he had worked in two reputable Quantity Surveying consultancy firms and was involved in many projects for public and private clients. He has been handling project and cost management-related courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He has successfully supervised over 100 Master’s research project reports. He has supervised a number of PhD theses as main supervisor and co-supervisor. He has been involved in external examination of Undergraduate, Master’s research project reports and PhD theses. His research interest includes: management of construction project cost, project leadership, procurement and project performance. He has over 60 scholarly papers published in national and international learned journals and refereed conference proceedings. He has held different administrative positions: Acting Head of Department of Building (six years), and Dean of Faculty of Environmental Sciences. He has served on a number of committees and boards: Mega Development Committee, Tender Evaluation Committee, Industrial Liaison and Placement Committee, UNILAG Journal of Medicine, Science and Technology, Central Research Committee, Faculty of Environmental Sciences Research Committee, Faculty of Environmental Sciences Accreditation Committee. Auditoria Management Board, CITS Management Board. He has acted as reviewer for a number of national and international journals.
