She has held many leadership positions at the University of Lagos such as  the head of Department of Microbiology, the Chairman, Postgraduate School Examination Malpractice Committee and that for the Faculty of Social Sciences, member of the  University Senate,  member of University of Lagos Staff School Management Board, University of Lagos Women Society School Management Board, Central Industrial Liaison Placement Unit (CILPU) Management Board and currently University of Lagos Consultancy Management Board.
