Professor 'Olumide Adenuga is a project and facility management expert. He is a Professor of Building with a focus on construction management, technology, and facilities management. He has over 25 years of expertise as a lecturer and researcher. At the Polytechnic and University levels, he has had the opportunity of providing academic and administrative leadership, as well as financial and material resource management. He has served as a Head of Department in the Polytechnic system, a course adviser at various levels, and a coordinator of Post Graduate Programs in the University system for four years. In the University system, he has served as both an acting and substantive head of department. He is a registered Builder and Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Building. He has served on various national committees, the most recent of which being his appointment as chairman of the committee to draft a technical report on the collapsed building at Ikoyi Lagos in November 2021 by the Nigerian Building and Road Research Institute (NBRRI). Professor Adenuga is the cluster lead for the Centre for Urbanization and Habitable Cities' Sustainable Construction and Skills Development Research Cluster, which is an Africa Universities Research Alliance (ARUA) Centre of Excellence. Professor Adenuga is a member of the University of Lagos Senate, as well as an Editorial and Reviewer for a number of prestigious journals
