Dr. Bolawole Femi Ogunbodede

Dr. Bolawole Ogunbodede is an Architect. He is registered with the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON), and a member of Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA). He got his combined first and second degrees from the Department of Architecture, University of Lagos, and also his Ph.D. He has over 25years of professional practice experience, and has had a full time experience of over 10 years in the academics. His research focus is “Neighbourhood and Building Sustainability, with bias for Social Evaluation”. Along with relevant agencies, he is working on Noise pollution abatement in Lagos, and he is putting things in place, towards looking into human waste management in Lagos. Professionally, he has designed several buildings, located in and outside University of Lagos main campus, one of which is the J P Clark centre, located close to the main administrative building of the University. He has attended several conferences, seminars and workshops, within and outside Nigeria. He has held various positions of responsibility, and also served in several committees, within and outside the University. In the year 2010, he was given an award as “The most Friendly Lecturer” by the Faculty of Environmental Science Students Association.
