Dr. Adegun is a Counselling Psychologist with focus on educational psychology. She has her undergraduate degree in guidance and counselling from University of Ado-Ekiti in 2004, later proceeded to University of Ibadan were she obtained a Master degree in counselling Psychology with bias in Educational Psychology &school counselling in 2006 and also a Doctoral degree in Counselling Psychology in 2013. Over the years she has conducted research with her colleagues and also mentored some of her students in research. Apart from been a researcher she also enjoys practical counselling, she is involve in counselling services within and outside the University of Lagos. She is a member of Counselling Association of Nigeria.
