Dr. Babalola is a seasoned academic (teacher and researcher). She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Benin and had her postgraduate training at the University of Lagos where she obtained a Master’s (1991) and a Doctorate (2005) all in chemical engineering. She has been a lecturer at the Federal Polytechnic Bida, Ladoke Akintola University Ogbomoso, Lagos State University Epe and has since 1999 joined the workforce at the University of Lagos. Her areas of interest include thermodynamics, phase behaviour of fluid systems, equation of state modelling, PVT and phase stability studies. She has supervised over a hundred undergraduate projects, about twenty Masters’ degree thesis and three Ph.D. works -two of which are on-going. She has to her credit, seventeen publications, four manuscripts in press and various on-going research works. She is a member of the Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers (a division of the NSE) and a registered engineer with COREN.
