Dr. Ajape, Mohammed Kayode obtained his first degree in 2006, Master’s degree in 2010 and Doctor of Philosophy in 2020, all in Accounting from University of Ilorin (B.Sc.) and University of Lagos (M.Sc. & Ph.D.) respectively. He is an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and a Graduate Member of the Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM). He had worked with the Office of the Auditor General for Local Governments, Kwara State as Senior Auditor in 2010 and as Adjunct Lecturer in Fountain University, Osogbo, Osun State. He later joined the Department of Accounting, University of Lagos in 2011.

Dr. Ajape is an adjunct lecturer at the Distance Learning Institute (DLI) since 2011 and a Teacher with the School of Foundation Studies (SFS) University of Lagos since 2015. He has attended both local and international conferences and had published scholarly works in both local and international journals. He has been a reviewer for Global Journal of Accounting, Unilag Journal of Business and Nigerian Journal of Management.
