Joseph Adepoju Tejumaiye, Ph.D., is an expert in political communication, integrated marketing communications and environmental communication. He has his degrees (BSc, M.Sc. and Ph.D.) from the University of Lagos in 1995, 1998 and 2010 respectively. Adepoju Tejumaiye is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations; Member, Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria; Member, Lagos Communication Forum; Member, Association of Communication Academics and Scholars of Nigeria (ACPSN), Member, International Association of Media and Communication Research (iamcr), Member, African Council of Communication Education (ACCE) as well as a journalist. Over the years Adepoju has conducted research in the areas of political advertising, mass media and socialisation, mass media and identity development of children, mass media and migration, marketing public relations, social media and electioneering, advertising and electioneering, mass media and poverty, development communication among others. He is the author of Mass Communication Research: An Introduction. He also co-authored a book titled: Newspaper and Magazine Management, Production and Marketing. Adepoju Tejumaiye has published in journals as well as contributed to books of reading in Mass Communication locally and internationally. Adepoju Tejumaiye trains public relations practitioners and non-public relations practitioners the process and practice of public relations, especially in the areas of government relations, customer relations, media relations, financial public relations, public issues management, community relations, and marketing supports.
